Story Circle Network, 2022
In Seeing Through Their Eyes, we turn our attention to making positive change in the face of looming global challenges. In addition to the COVID pandemic, we are facing climate change and its growing impacts, the Russian war on Ukraine and the resulting increased global famine, economic fall-out from the pandemic and corporate greed, escalating gun violence and racial tensions. People are nearly numb to disasters.
Yet we’re learning about what humans can do to make things better. All of the pieces in this anthology consider the quality of empathy. That human capability prevents us from growing numb and leads to compassion for others. Here you will surely find responses that speak to you.
