Excellent research and well described scenarios almost make this book a pictorial adventure through ancient times. The author’s use of description is quite effective. There is enough to help readers place themselves in the story, but leaves some room for them to use their imaginations.

The characters are daring and full of energy. They are relentless in their quest for what they want.

Tools of a Thief is a well told fantasy with good structure. I surely traveled far and fast through a new timeslot of historical encounters. Rambo wields language and skill in the craft of writing into an easy and enjoyable novel.
